Hello!
So I have this problem where I can't seem to enable specular in my demos.
It looks like this atm:

And I want this look:

Now obvs, you see that I have specular in the 2nd screenshot. But the thing is that I want to record in 1080p windowed mode, and to do that I have to paste my "config_mp" in my moviemaking profile every time I want to record (because of the vid_xpos/vid_ypos commands I have in there) otherwise the window won't line up in the middle and I can't do cl_Avidemo.
And when I paste the config_mp in the profile, the specular gets blocked somehow.

I've tried almost every command for specular it seems.
(r_specularColorScale "4"
r_renderinuse "Shader model 3"
r_renderpreference "Shader model 3"
r_specular "1" )

And I can't get it to work.

Have you tried inserting the command(s) through the config itself, and not through the console?
Have you set Specular to "On" in settings?


Try this, and set the config to "Read-Only"
