Removing One Shot Kill text and popup cards in MW2

I've been tinkering with my MW2 MCFG for a bit but can't seem to remove the text that says One Shot Kill/Double Kill etc. or the cards that pop up when people get First Blood.

Here's an example of what I mean:



Does anyone know the commands to remove these? I know it's possible since I've seen many clips without them.

have you tried hud_enable 0 or g_hardcore 1?

I was able to fix it by commenting out everything inside notifyMessage( notifyData ) in maps/mp/gametypes/_hud_message.gsc.

I no longer accept Skype contact requests. Leave all questions in a PM either here or on YouTube.
