Alright so I've been doing this for a while, with codtvmm I will do /sv_fps 1000 and /com_maxfps 30 and record in .1 timescale, everything would be smooth and so on.. but lately when I try to do this, my player thats running in the cine when im recording demos, I will record in shoutcaster and open up in cod4player, still lags -.- So I tried what everyone recommends and did /sv_fps 30/20 and /com_maxfps 30/20 and they say it'll jump and stuff when recording the demo.. I open the demo and its jumpy.. I've redownloaded everything... someone please help

You shouldn't touch com_maxfps, because that changes the max FPS the game will output. Even if you have the best computer in the world, using com_maxfps 30/20 will make your game run like a slideshow.
