MW2 Model ripped with Lime and no textures showed up HELP.
Member
Hi guys,
I recently managed to rip and import custom models to cod4.
Despite some texture bugs im working on, i have one model, thats the most important of all for that i want, that when i ripped it the Lime tool showed no textures... I ve retried it while changed some Lime settings but nothing. I also manually searched the textures into MW2 iwd but still nothing.... Anyone has an idea?
The name of the model is
body_city_civ_male_a (seen in mission Wolverines! - The Raptor )

Just making sure, after you exported with Lime there aren't any images in the exported folder? If there are, make sure you're in textured view in Maya (hotkey is 6). If not, it may be a model removed from the game/replaced with another. If that's the case, try to look for other civilian models from the level to see if they have textures.

Tom's IWIxDDS converter isn't perfect, so you're better off importing the .dds into Photoshop and using the NVIDIA .dds plugins to save it again. CoD4/5 use DXT5 compression and BO1 uses 8.8.8.8 RGBA Unsigned. I'm not sure what MW2 uses, so to be on the safe side do what I said
