I'm trying to get static turrets to overheat, so they can't dominate a map? other than editing the weapon file,(which i did)does anyone know how to accomplish this? ( this is for waw, assuming cod4 is similar...)

Scripting needs to be done i think. You can't do much in weaponfile.

You can set it as a overheating weapon in BO1, but I don't know if the same can be said for CoD4/5.
