alterIWnet at risk of being closed

Few days ago on alterIWnet website there was a news post saying:
alterIW has received a Cease and desist notification from Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, on behalf of Activision Publishing Inc, the legitimacy of which is under investigation
Does that look like Activision hasn't got enough money ?
Did alterIWnet affect their profits ?
We don't know, but we can be sure Call of Duty scene is at huge risk of dying.
