Change Bot Names in MW3
A friend asked me to try change the names of bots in MW3. Spent around 5 minutes snooping in the dll and figured it out - it's much simpler than it looks.
You will need:
.NET Reflector (find it on your favourite legitimate downloading website)
Reflexil for .NET Reflector
Steps:
1. Get the bot mod from here: http://cfgfactory.com/skins/show/531b16d41c5fd
2. Open up BotsPluginv2.dll in .NET Reflector:

3. Click Tools > Add-Ins and add Reflexil.dll to the list by pressing the + (or Add... if you have an older version of .NET Reflector)
3. Navigate to Addon > TestClients > AddTestClient() : Int32
4. Click Tools > Reflexil vX.X
5. Scroll down to entry 026 (or offset 51) and you should see "ldstr | connect CM{0} "\cg_predictItems\1\cl_anonymous\0\color\4\head\default\model\multi\snaps\40\rate\15000\name\Minion{0}\protocol\{1}\checksum\{2}\statver\{3} {4}\qport\{5}""
6. Right click and press Edit..., then change Minion{0} to whatever you want and click Update
7. You will see that entry 023 (offset 47) has changed to -> (-1) connect CM{0} "\cg_predictItems\1\cl_anonymous\0\color\4\head\default\model\multi\snaps\40\rate\15000\name\Minion{0}\protocol\{1}\checksum\{2}\statver\{3} {4}\qport\{5}"". This is because it is linking to a target that no longer exists. To fix it right click on it and press Edit... again. This time, press on the bottom-most drop down menu (next to Operand) and link it back to 026, then click Update.
8. Scroll back up to Bot Mod.dll and under the right click menu go to Reflexil vX.X > Save as... and save it wherever you want.
9. Place the newly made .dll into your %server%/plugins folder and you're good to go.
Have fun :)
