FG42F Scoped and Unscoped
=========================

Name: FG42F Scoped and Unscoped
Version: 2.0

Game: Call Of Duty 2
Type: Unofficial SP and MP Modification

Modification:
-------------
Hi, as there were voices calling for the fg42 for cod2 I was working on this one and here it is.

DESCRIPTION:
This little modification brings you the FG42 with/without scope. It is SP and MP friendly.
In SP G43 is replaced with unscoped FG42 and scoped G43 is replaced with scoped FG42.
In MP G43 is replaced with unscoped FG42 and scoped kar98k is replaced with scoped FG42.
It goes with new skin (DX9 compatible), new sounds (fire, foley, reload, shelleject), new icons (HUD pickup icon, fire mode icon).

HISTORY:
The FG42F universal/assault rifle was constructed for the purposes of the German Air Force (Luftwaffe), to be more specific for its elite units - paratroopers (Fallschirmjaeger). This rifle combined features of bolt-action rifles, sub-machineguns and machineguns. So it could encounter various roles on the battlefield. It was planned to make the FG42 the main Fallschirmjaeger weapon but the difficulties with manufacturing dropped this plan off. There were 3 known versions of the FG42. This modification brings the late version - FG-42F.
Enjoy!

NOTES:
1) This model was made from an unused COD2 stock model hidden in the gamedata. It has been heavilly adjusted to the player and AI use. It goes with everything around as usual (skin, DX7+9, icons, sounds...)
2) The script compatibility maximized. Almost all stuff uses its uniques files to reduce error probability (the only exceptions to the rule are necessary weaponfiles).
3) Note that this modification is COMPATIBLE WITH my "Modified P-38" (all versions),"Scoped SVT-40" (all versions), "New BARs" (all versions), "MP-41" (all versions), "Carbine M2" (all versions), "HDM Silenced" (all versions).
Note that this modification is COMPATIBLE WITH EITHER my "Portable MG-42" OR my "Scoped MP-44". Do not apply them at the same time - it can cause errors - they replace the same weapon.
Other modifications have not been tested.
