You do not know how to solve the problem with iw3mp.exe stopped working? I tried to reinstall the game, operating system, but nothing helped me. I have windows xp 32bit sp3.

Trafi is right. Its probably Cause of ur Microphone/Headset thats not Plugged in.. I have save Problem if it is not Plugged in.

Yeah, exactly... So basically you have to connect something at least some random wires to the "green" speaker output, or else your cod4 will keep crashing forever.

i have same problem but the game is still crashing, i have tryed everything, this mic thing doesn't solve problem for me.
on google there is not so many solutions, this and that with sound but no help. i have updated all drivers,dx but game still keep on crashing

can someone help me,everytime i try to enter cod4 it just wont enter,if i put safe mode on it will but only for 5 sec and then crashes,its not iw3mp crash though...

i had same problem and the "mic plugged in" thingy didnt fixed it cause my headset is always plugged in.. what i did : I reinstalled directX from the Cod4 DVD and after that it worked fine again...
