Hello everyone.

Since I am really new to modding I asked myself if you can extract a Sky from Black Ops and convert it so you can use it with CoD4. And IF you can, how is it done? I already gathered all the images from the different .iwd's from the mainfolder and now I dont know how to convert them for cod4 since you cant just take thw .iwi files and throw them into a mod.

have you tried putting the iwi files to iwd and put the iwd in your mod folder ?

that is the first thing ive tried, and when i load crash for example i get an error saying that the texture cant be load so i have to convert the files somehow.

look for the custom skies tutorial and load this textures insted of the ones in the tutorial into the convertation program and check if everything is the same as the settings for cod4 (resulotion, etc...)
if this doesnt work i dunno but make sure you try that
